In Age of Thieves, you are a master thief in the port metropolis of Hadria, ready for the heist of your life! The objective is simple, but the execution... well, not so much: break into the Emperor's palace, steal the Emperor's Jewel, and most importantly, escape the city with your precious loot. But don't think it will be a walk in the park; the streets are teeming with city guards and veteran captains, all ready to thwart your plans. Moreover, time is a constant enemy, with event cards that increase the difficulty and pace of the game each turn.

Each player controls a thief with unique abilities, and you'll use action cards representing cunning maneuvers, alchemical potions, or gadgets inspired by the Renaissance. The game's dynamic is super interesting: you choose your cards and then spend your action points to determine the order of your activities. This means the sequence of your actions matters a lot, and the player order in the round can change drastically depending on how many action points you invest in each card. The first thief to escape through one of the four city gates with the Jewel or other valuable treasure claims victory.
