B-29 Superfortress puts you in the seat of the most advanced bomber of World War II. This solo game simulates the missions of the Twentieth Air Force, which launched from the Marianas toward Japan between 1944 and 1945. Your goal is to complete a series of 35 flights – high and low altitude, day and night – and return home a hero, helping end the conflict without a bloody invasion. Each mission presents varied challenges: Japanese fighter attacks, anti‑aircraft flak, searchlight spotting, storms, and mechanical failures. You may suffer a shattered windshield, cabin pressure loss, oxygen shortage, damaged landing gear, compromised navigation, leaking fuel tanks, or disabled guns.
