The game runs in 15‑30 minutes, perfect for 2‑4 friends who want something quick yet truly strategic. At the start, each player receives a set of cards representing destinations across the US – from New York to Los Angeles – and must decide where to place each one. The trick lies in closed drafting: cards disappear from the pool, so you have to think carefully before grabbing a seemingly good one, because no one else can take it. After building your routes, you flip the cards and record the results on paper sheets. That’s where paper‑and‑pencil comes in – you draw, mark points, and try to complete activity sets. Each complete set scores extra points, so set collection comes into play: you try to gather cards that form a theme, such as “historic cities” or “famous landmarks.” The goal is to have the highest score at the end, and whoever manages to connect the east and west coasts earns a bonus. The flip‑and‑write mechanic adds a luck element that blends with drafting strategy, creating tense and surprising moments. If you like fast games with cards and paper, and want a challenge that mixes luck and planning, Boomerang: USA is a solid choice. The game has no complex pieces, but demands attention to detail and good draft decisions. If you’re a fan of travel, simple card games, or love getting your hands dirty with paper and pen, you’ll have a lot of fun with this option. Boomerang: USA brings the same fun vibe as its siblings Boomerang: Australia and Boomerang: Europe, but with an American twist: iconic cities, historic roads, and the feeling of crossing the country. The game is ideal for those who want something light yet strategic, requiring no heavy setup – just the deck, paper, and a competitive spirit. Scoring stays in play until the end, so every choice matters, and the outcome can shift when you flip the cards. If you enjoy drafting, flipping, and writing your results, this title will surprise you. ## FAQ ### How long does the game last?
