Ever thought about growing your own tropical rainforest? In Canopy, you take on the role of a nature's gardener, striving to create the most lush and balanced ecosystem possible. The goal is simple: attract the widest variety of wildlife, but to achieve this, you'll need towering trees and vibrant plants to provide a home for the animals. The gameplay revolves around three growth piles of cards representing the jungle's expansion. This is where the tension kicks in: when you check a pile, you have two choices. You can either take all the cards and add them to your tableau, or return the pile face down and add one more card to it. It's tempting to wait and grab a huge stack of cards at once, right? But be careful! The larger the pile, the higher the chance of drawing a disaster, such as fires, droughts, or diseases that can devastate your flora.

The game is an exercise in risk management and symbiosis. You must plan which plants pair best with which animals to maximize your points.
