## Description
Hey everyone! Ready for a snappier, more streamlined take on the classic Caylus? Caylus Magna Carta brings the essence of medieval building and resource management right to your fingertips, ditching the big board. This game plays out with cards, money, and your trusty worker pawns. Each player starts with their own deck, and on your turn, the choice is yours: expand the city by building new structures, grab new cards, ditch your hand for a fresh one if you're not feeling it, or send a worker to take an action. And of course, there's the option to chip in on building the castle, securing valuable end-game points. The provost sets the pace, and the turn order shifts dynamically, so stay sharp! Whoever best manages their cards and resources to erect the castle and the most coveted buildings will claim victory. It's a game that demands planning and a bit of cunning to keep your opponents from getting ahead. Perfect for those who enjoy solid worker placement with a lighter, faster feel, ideal for taking anywhere!

## FAQ
### What's the main difference between Caylus Magna Carta and the original Caylus?
Caylus Magna Carta is a card-based version, faster and more portable, without the main board. It retains the essence of worker placement but with mechanics adapted to the card format.

### How many players can play and how long does a game take?
The game is for 2 to 4 players, and a game typically lasts between 45 and 75 minutes, depending on the group's experience.

### Is it a complex game? Who do you recommend it for?
It has a medium weight (2.87/5 on BGG), meaning it requires some strategy and planning. It's great for those who already enjoy games like Caylus or are looking for a worker placement game with more depth than a casual game.

### What comes in the box?
You'll find cards (for buildings, actions, etc.), money, worker pawns, resource markers, and castle building stones.

### Do I need to know how to play Caylus to understand this one?
Not necessarily! While they share the theme and some mechanics, Caylus Magna Carta works well as a standalone game. Knowing the original might give you an initial edge, but it's not required.

### Does the game have a lot of player interaction?
The interaction is more indirect, focusing on competing for the best action spaces and resources, and the race to build the castle. It's not a game of constant direct attacks.
