In Chocolate Factory, you step into the shoes of a master chocolatier at the dawn of the 20th century, a time of pure innovation in the sweet world! Your challenge? To build a literal chocolate factory and manage a production line that feels like a real conveyor belt. The goal is to satisfy retailer orders by producing the largest quantity of chocolates for the best value. 

The game blends eurogame strategy with a uniquely tactile experience. Each player has a personal board with factory parts that connect to a physical conveyor belt. This belt is a central piece where you'll slide and manipulate ingredients and wooden chocolate pieces. 

Gameplay revolves around drafting new factory parts and specialists (cards with unique abilities) through open drafting. Then, it's time to get hands-on! You'll use action points to "push" ingredients through your production line. Each machine in your factory, connected to the belt, allows you to manipulate the chocolates passing by. The position of the chocolates on the belt is crucial, as only the adjacent machine can interact with them. 

Scoring points happens by completing public and private objectives, which usually involve producing specific types of chocolates.
