## Description
Prepare to dive into cosmic dread with Cthulhu Gloom! If you enjoy the idea of being the master of others' misfortune, this game is for you. The premise is simple: make your characters as miserable, insane, and preferably dead as possible, while your opponents try to keep their heroes sane and safe. It's a race to the abyss, where unhappiness is the currency and madness is the ultimate goal.

In this Lovecraftian take on the classic Gloom, you'll deal with transparent cards that stack on top of each other, allowing for hilarious (and tragic) modifications to your characters. Imagine your heroes being tormented by cultists, learning ancient secrets that lead to madness, or undergoing bizarre experiments. All this while you try to sabotage your friends' plans, playing cards that plunge them into despair.

Cthulhu Gloom introduces new elements like Story Cards, which offer benefits (or drawbacks!) to those who meet certain conditions, and Transformation Cards, which permanently alter a character's appearance and fate – prepare for something "hideous and slimy." The game can be played on its own or combined with the original Gloom and its expansions, opening up a range of possibilities for those seeking an experience of horror and dark humor.

With accessible rules and a theme that embraces despair in a fun way, Cthulhu Gloom is a sure bet for anyone who likes card games with direct interaction and a good dose of player-created narrative. If you're not afraid to see your characters succumb to madness and want to laugh about it, Cthulhu Gloom is your doom!
