If you love building empires, controlling territories, and using action cards strategically, this edition will leave you speechless. The add‑on brings new region tiles that reshape the map, royal decrees that grant special powers, and of course a wooden windmill that can become either your ally or your foe, depending on how you play it. Plus, the expansion opens up play for up to six players, turning the alliance and rivalry dynamics into a more complex dance. The Action Queue system still works as before, but now you have more card options and more areas to contest. Hand management becomes even more intriguing, as decree cards can swing an entire turn. The area influence mechanic remains the heart of victory: controlling more territories earns more victory points and lets you use resources more advantageously. If you’ve already played Feudum and felt the need for more strategic variety, this expansion is perfect. It keeps the balance between planning and improvisation, and still delivers that tension only a feudal competition can offer.
