## Description
Gear up to relive the brutality of the Eastern Front in World War II with Fighting Formations: Grossdeutschland Division's Battle for Kharkov! This expansion supercharges the base game with 10 brand-new scenarios, plunging you into the boots of the legendary Grossdeutschland Division in 1943 and 1944. The battle for Kharkov and its surroundings was a cauldron of counterattacks and desperate defenses, where the Grossdeutschland, often outnumbered, tried to stem the Soviet advance. You'll command elite German units or the masses of Soviet soldiers, fighting for every inch of terrain on brand-new maps. The expansion introduces new units, like the SU-85 tank destroyer and the feared German Tiger I, as well as artillerymen forced onto the front lines. Each scenario recreates crucial moments, from encirclements and ambushes to daring offensives and tenacious defenses. The complexity of the base game remains, with the addition of new units and tactical situations that will demand the utmost from players. Expect intense battles and difficult decisions, where dice rolls can seal the fate of entire battalions. If you enjoy detailed historical wargames and aren't afraid of a challenge, this expansion is a feast. The fight for Ukraine is relentless, and only the best prepared will emerge victorious.
