## Description
Prepare to relive a fascinating chapter of the Punic Wars with the 'Sun of Macedon' expansion for Hannibal & Hamilcar. This time, Macedon, under the command of Philip V, enters the scene as an ally of Carthage, bringing new strategic possibilities to the board. This expansion adds a new leader for the Carthaginian player and two brand-new strategy cards: 'Desert March' and 'Hidden Cove'. 'Desert March' allows for stealthy movement of ground troops across North Africa, simulating the audacious journey of Hamilcar, Hannibal's father, and paving the way for reinforcements or unexpected maneuvers. 'Hidden Cove' enables armies to arrive or depart from Genoa via unconventional sea routes, adding an element of surprise and bypassing Roman coastal defenses. The game retains its core of historical simulation and tactical combat, with the addition of these new options reflecting historical events and the complexity of alliances of the era. The campaign and battle card mechanics remain at the heart of the experience, while dice rolling and area control add the right dose of unpredictability and competition. It's an expansion that adds depth and variety, perfect for those who have already mastered the base game and are looking for new ways to wage war between Rome and Carthage. With high-quality components and a focus on historical fidelity, 'Sun of Macedon' is a treat for lovers of historical and strategic wargames.
