In a Grove is a bluff‑and‑deduction duel that fits into 20 minutes and works for 2 to 5 players. At the start of each round each player receives one of eight numbered silhouettes (2‑8) plus a blank one. Three silhouettes are placed in the center as suspects, the fourth is the victim. The goal is to figure out who the culprit is – the highest number, unless the 5 is among them, in which case the lowest number wins – or to trick the others into accusing the innocent. After looking at their silhouette, players pass it to the right, and the first player of the round may swap the victim for one of the suspects before placing an accusation marker. Then each player, without looking at the suspect the previous player accused, places their marker on a suspect, covering previous markers. When all have placed, the suspects are revealed: those who guessed correctly get their marker back, wrong guesses flip color and return to the owner of the top marker. The round ends and the first‑player token moves clockwise. The game continues until someone has eight or more markers or none at all, at which point that player loses and the one with the fewest markers wins.
