## Description
Kangaroo is a fast, ultra‑accessible game for kids and families that also gives a satisfying card‑play challenge for casual gamers. Each player holds a hand of cards representing the island's wildlife – kangaroos, koalas, penguins, even the dreaded platypus. On your turn you play a card to "catch" an animal, adding it to your collection area. But catching isn’t the whole story; if another player tries to steal or a forest fire pops up, you can defend your herd by playing the right card. The deck moves forward each round, so watching the upcoming cards is key – that’s where hand management shines. When the deck runs out, the player with the most animals wins. A ten‑minute playtime, very light rules (weight 1/5), and 3‑6 players make it perfect for quick sessions between friends or before snack time. The components are bright and easy to handle, with artwork that brings Australian fauna to life. While easy‑going, the game teaches planning your hand, tracking the deck flow, and balancing capture with defense. Great for anyone looking for a fun, thematic, low‑reading game, Kangaroo offers a bouncy round of enjoyment every time.
