King of New York brings the mayhem of King of Tokyo to the streets of the Big Apple. Each player controls a giant monster that lands in a Manhattan district and tries to become the city’s most feared (or most famous) creature. The goal is straightforward: be the first to reach 20 victory points or wipe out all opponents. On your turn you roll up to six dice bearing icons—claws, hearts, energy, fame, and destruction—and may re‑roll twice, locking any results you like. Claws damage neighboring monsters, hearts heal you, energy buys unique power cards, fame grants temporary victory points, and destroying buildings yields bonuses while drawing the ire of the military forces that will target the biggest troublemaker. The larger board, split into districts, lets you shift monsters around, creating positioning tactics and escape routes. Power cards provide one‑off abilities, extra attacks or control effects, purchasable only with the energy you collect.
