In Kitchen Rush up to four players don the sunglasses and become kitchen bosses, using hourglasses as workers. Each hourglass gives a limited amount of sand to perform tasks: taking orders, cooking dishes, serving, buying ingredients, washing plates and still making sure the cash covers wages and expenses. The game runs over four rounds of four minutes each, with no pauses – everything happens in real time, demanding quick decisions and heavy coordination among players.\n\nWorker placement works differently here: once you place an hourglass on an action space it stays busy until the sand runs out, and no one else can use it in the meantime. Choosing where to invest that time is crucial. The cooperative aspect forces the group to plan together, split responsibilities and bail out teammates who get overloaded. If you’re flying solo, the solo mode lets a single player face the same frantic pace, tweaking strategies to avoid a kitchen fire.\n\nComponents are simple yet thematic: order cards, money tokens, ingredient markers, and the colorful hourglasses that act as human timers. The artwork evokes a modern bistro, and the real‑time rule creates a pressure‑cooker feeling reminiscent of cooking‑show competitions. While the learning curve is gentle – you’re up and running in under ten minutes – mastering the synchronization of hourglasses can take several plays. Perfect for families who love simultaneous action, friend groups seeking cooperative challenges, or solo gamers who want to test reflexes and planning under pressure. In short, Kitchen Rush serves up adrenaline, laughs, and, if you manage well, a tasty profit at the end of the final round. ## FAQ ### How many players can join? 1 to 4 players, with a fully functional solo mode. ### How long does a game last?
