First, in the 'fast round,' players simultaneously throw their cards onto the table, racing against time to position their ships. The objective is strategic: aim laser beams at the asteroid to 'mine' it and secure points, or at opponents to inflict damage and take them out of the game. As soon as one player manages to get rid of all their cards, the tension builds and the 'scoring round' begins. This is where the dust settles and strategy is revealed. Ships fire in rank order, from lowest to highest. If a ship accumulates more damage than its health allows, it is destroyed.
