## Description
Transport yourself to the borders of the Roman Empire two thousand years ago. Life seems steady, but don't be fooled: barbarians are always lurking just beyond the frontier. In Limes, you act as a frontier administrator, balancing survival with regional growth. Your task is twofold: manage vital resources like grain, fish, and wood, while maintaining a strategic network of watchtowers to guard against unexpected attacks or fires. 

This game is a clever evolution of the classic 'Cities,' but don't let the similarities fool you! While the core movement and tile-placement mechanics are similar, the scoring system here is entirely new and much more strategic. Each player has their own deck, and the goal is to construct a 4x4 card grid. As you place new cards, you must ensure they connect to existing ones, creating a mosaic of territories. 

The real trick lies in how you position your workers. You have farmers, fishermen, woodcutters, and watchmen, and each scores differently. Farmers want connected grain fields; fishermen need houses near lakes; woodcutters want to deliver wood to as many neighbors as possible; and the watchman? Well, the watchman needs a clear line of sight to detect threats, without other towers blocking their view. It's a spatial puzzle where every card and every worker counts.
