For Teotihuacan: City of Gods, the Challenge Book offers six variants aimed at veteran players, each presenting a preset setup that highlights a particular gameplay aspect and often introduces special rules and victory conditions, raising the difficulty. In Tekhenu: Obelisk of the Sun, the box includes another Challenge Book (three variants) plus the Noble Buildings module, which gives each player a special building tile.
