## Description
Get ready to face the cold and harshness of winter with the 'Winter Wars' expansion for Memoir '44! If you enjoy the series and want more tactical challenges, this box brings everything to transform your battlefield into a snowy landscape. It includes 88 new tiles to create icy terrains, plus markers and 28 special unit badges that will give your games that 'mission impossible' feel. There are also 20 Winter Combat cards, inspired by the urban combat cards, and 80 new Command cards focused on Breakthrough battles, perfect for simulating the intensity of the Battle of the Bulge.

The rules have been adapted for combat in the snow, and you also get new troops like the Tank Destroyer and Heavy Anti-Tank Guns, as well as late-war versions of classic units. There are 10 brand-new scenarios, all centered around the two weeks of December 1944. The first six can be played with the base game and this expansion, but the four Breakthrough scenarios are more ambitious: they also require the 'Eastern Front' expansion and the 'Breakthrough' map set. Language dependency is moderate, so you might need a little help with translated cards or a reference sheet to fully dive into the coldest battles of World War II.
