Two to five astronauts team up to recover scattered supplies across the moon’s surface while the environment grows increasingly hostile: magnetic storms, oxygen depletion, and a ticking life counter. The goal is simple, but execution demands tight strategy: each turn players receive oxygen cards and roll polyhedral dice to earn action points. Those points are spent moving, picking up supplies, activating the Oxygen Generator System (OGS), or using special abilities. The “Pick‑up and Deliver” mechanic heightens tension by requiring efficient route planning, while “Push Your Luck” introduces the unpredictability of storm cards that can break the OGS if mishandled. The game has a moderate learning curve; the blend of tactical choices and resource sharing makes cooperation essential. The space‑themed art and board design add extra charm, with astronaut suits and a lunar terrain map. For fans of cooperative challenges with a dash of risk, Moon Adventure delivers an engaging, high‑stakes experience. Digital versions on the Apple App Store and Steam make it easy to play anywhere. ## How to Play Game Objective Players are astronauts tasked with exploring the moon. The current mission is to collect supplies that were scattered during a magnetic storm and safely return to base. Among the supplies are Broken Supplies, and the further you are from the base, the fewer broken supplies you will find. Working as a team, players must replenish oxygen and try to return to base with as many supplies as possible. Watch out for the magnetic storm that appears and disappears! Setup To set up the game, follow the steps below: Place the Base Board on the table. Place all Supplies face down (with numbers facing up), separated by area number, and shuffle them well. Starting from the base, align the supplies in order from areas 3 to 5. Place the Rover next to the last supply in the line and the Rover Card near the rover. Place the 21 Collected Supplies, 10 Route Tiles, and 5 OGS (Oxygen Generation System) next to the play area. Each player takes 1 Role Card. Decide who takes which role or choose randomly. Then, take the crew piece of the same color as the role card and place it on the base. If someone takes the Engineer card, place the robot on the base. Otherwise, the robot will not be used. Each player takes 1 Summary Card A and 1 Summary Card B. Each player takes 5 Container Cards and aligns them on the table in front of them. If someone takes the Loader card, that player takes 6 container cards. Shuffle the 15 Oxygen Cards face down. Each player takes 3 cards, turns them face up, and places them on top of their containers. Place 1 Magnetic Storm Card face up. On top of it, place the remaining oxygen cards. This is the discard pile. Place the 3 remaining magnetic storm cards in a separate pile. Choose a starting player as you prefer. Game Flow The game progresses in turns, following clockwise order from the starting player. On their turn, each player follows the steps below: Consume Oxygen and Roll Dice: Choose an oxygen card from your containers and place it in the discard pile. Roll the dice according to the type of card chosen (2 dice for 2x02 cards, 3 dice for 3x02 cards). The sum of the dice determines how many Action Points (AP) you have to use in the turn. Take Actions: Use your AP to perform available actions. You can repeat actions and do not need to use all AP. Replenish Oxygen: If you are at an activated OGS, you can replenish your oxygen with a card from the draw pile. If the draw pile is empty before replenishing, shuffle the discard pile and place a new magnetic storm card in the discard pile. Actions and How to Play During your turn, you can perform the following actions: Movement (1 AP): Move your piece to an adjacent supply. You can jump over other crew pieces, route tiles, or the robot. Activate OGS (3 AP): Place an OGS between your piece and an adjacent supply. Develop a Route (2 AP): Place a route tile on an adjacent supply. You must jump over route tiles when moving. Share Container (1 AP): Exchange oxygen cards or supplies with an adjacent player. Collect Supplies (variable AP): Take an adjacent face-down supply and place it in an empty container. Place a collected supply in the location where you took the supply. Abandon Supplies (variable AP): Place a supply from your containers between your piece and an adjacent supply. End of Game and Scoring The game ends under two conditions: If a player has no more oxygen cards at the start of their turn, the mission fails. If all players return to base, flip the collected supplies and count how many are intact. Refer to the table in the manual to determine if the mission was successful based on the number of players and intact supplies. Tips for Winning Plan your routes carefully to maximize supply collection and minimize oxygen consumption. Use the special abilities of your roles to optimize your actions and help the team. Stay alert to the magnetic storm and manage the risk of breaking OGS when replenishing oxygen. ## FAQ ### What is the average playtime?
