This gem packs six brand-new characters, six fresh locations, and six items to make the mystery even more intriguing. The twist here is that the story cards replace the object cards. Instead of the ghost giving clues about an object, they must use the dream cards to tell the full story of their demise. This adds a layer of complexity and challenge, as interpreting images to convey a narrative is way trickier than pointing to a single item. It's a fantastic way to refresh the base game experience, bringing more variety and demanding even more creative communication between the ghost and the psychics. Get ready to dive into new plots and uncover secrets that will test your deduction and interpretation skills like never before! ## How to Play Objective of the Game In Mysterium: Secrets & Lies, players are psychics gathered at the Warwick Manor to help free a tortured spirit. This expansion adds new components and rules, but the base game is essential for the magic to happen. ### How many players does this expansion support? Just like the base game, the expansion maintains support for 2 to 7 players, keeping the cooperative dynamic intact. ### Does it significantly increase the game's complexity? Yes, a bit. The shift from object cards to story cards requires deeper interpretation and more elaborate communication, which might be more challenging for new players. ### What exactly does this expansion add? It brings 6 new characters, 6 new locations, and 6 new items, plus 18 story cards that replace the object cards from the original game. ### Is it worth it for those who have played the original Mysterium a lot? Absolutely! If you're looking for a new way to play and want to test your deduction and interpretation skills differently, this expansion is a great way to bring new life to your games. ### Does the ghost have a harder time giving clues? Yes, the mechanic of telling the story of the death using dream cards is more abstract and complex than indicating an object, requiring more creativity and attention from the psychics to decipher. ## Price Comparison ### Best Offers in Brazil - **Amazon**: R$ 172,86 (https://www.amazon.com.br/dp/B0B2X31ZP6?tag=bgbot26b-20&linkCode=as2) - **Alquimistas dos Jogos**: R$ 134,81 (https://www.alquimistasdosjogos.com.br/jogos/mysterium-secrets-and-lies?utm_source=boardgamesbot.com) - **Brechó Lúdico**: R$ 162,96 (https://brecholudico.com.br/produto/mysterium-secrets-and-lies-expansao/?utm_source=boardgamesbot.com) - **Caixinha Boardgames**: R$ 166,47 (https://www.caixinhaboardgames.com.br/produtos/secrets-and-lies-expansao-mysterium/?utm_source=boardgamesbot.com) - **Paladins Games**: R$ 167,31 (http://paladinsgames.com.br/produto/1074594/mysterium-segredos-e-mentiras?utm_source=boardgamesbot.com) - See all on Compara Jogos: https://www.comparajogos.com.br/item/mysterium-secrets-lies ### Best International Offers - **BoardGamePrices.com**: $ 22.27 (https://boardgameprices.com/item/go?source=A&storeitemid=697038&utm_source=boardgamesbot.com) - See all on BoardGamePrices: https://boardgameprices.com/item/show/20267/mysterium-secrets-lies?utm_source=boardgamesbot.com
