To do this, you enlist the help of the Night Watch and Mistletoe, whose mystical powers can repel the troll. Each player is dealt an identical deck of 13 cards, which includes daughters, riches, trolls, mistletoe, and guards. The goal is to strategically place your cards in different locations around the city to secure majority and protect your assets. Cards are played two at a time, and after all are placed, the locations are resolved to determine victory points. Daughters and riches yield points if they survive, while trolls can eliminate all cards at a location unless countered by mistletoe.
