In 2023, the game is reinvented: six monster legions—Vampires, Werewolves, Skeletons, Ghosts, Mummies, and Witches—clash on a hexagonal board that offers more movement directions and blocking possibilities. Each player controls one of these legions, each with a unique ability that changes the way they play and adds an asymmetrical strategic layer.

During their turn, a player can pick three actions out of six: place a monster, move one, invade a house, scare residents, capture a person to turn them into a monster, or dominate a house. The goal is to rack up scare points, control houses, and, more strategically, surround and push opponents’ monsters away from the city. When all 12 houses are invaded, the game ends and the player with the most points wins.
