Units are represented by detailed cards, scaled to represent centuries, maniples, or even elephants, with formations of 80 to 100 men for infantry, 20 cavalrymen for cavalry, or 6 elephants. These attributes receive bonuses and penalties depending on the combat situation, which requires a good deal of strategy.
