Preparation (Setup) Consulte o manual para detalhes sobre esta seção. Fluxo do Jogo Consulte o manual para detalhes sobre esta seção. Ações e Como Jogar Action Postcards This expansion introduces eight new Action Postcards that can be mixed with those from the base game. These postcards grant special abilities or scoring opportunities. ARC DE TRIOMPHE: Immediately place the Arc de Triomphe on the board. Its two ends must sit on Cobblestone spaces of your color. The central part can occupy any type of space, including Streetlights or Cobblestones (of any color or mixed). The Arc de Triomphe is not a building and does not score points on its own, but the spaces it occupies count when determining the size of your largest building group. CATACOMBES DE PARIS: Immediately place the Skull on top of an available Cobblestone space of your opponent’s color. If this space is not occupied by a building at the end of the game, remove the Skull before scoring. If your opponent builds on this space, place the Skull on top of that building. Your opponent scores the building normally, and you get half as many points as they did for that building (rounding down). MUSÉE DU LOUVRE: Immediately place the Louvre Museum on one of your buildings on the board. This building will house the Museum’s exhibit. It is scored normally, and at the end of the game, you get 1 additional point for each space orthogonally adjacent to that building that is not occupied by another building. TOUR EIFFEL: Immediately place the Eiffel Tower on the intersection between four Cobblestone spaces that are not occupied by any buildings or other pieces and include at least one Streetlight. Players cannot place buildings or any other element on any of the four spaces below the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is not a building. The Streetlights under the Eiffel Tower cross count as double Streetlights. For example, a size 2 building next to one of these Streetlights scores 4 points instead of the normal 2. Additionally, at the end of the game, each player gets 2 additional points for each empty space of their color under the cross of the Eiffel Tower. For the purposes of other action postcards (such as the “Le Peintre” or “Moulin Rouge”), the four spaces below the Eiffel Tower are considered to be occupied. NOTRE-DAME DE PARIS: Immediately place the Gargoyle on a building on the board that belongs to your opponent. At the end of the game, your opponent scores the building normally, and both players can count it as their own when determining the size of their largest building group. QUARTIERS PAUVRES: At the end of the game, you get additional points based on the number of different board edges that are in contact with your buildings: 1, 2, 4, or 8 points if your buildings are in contact, respectively, with one, two, three, or four edges of the board. HÔTEL DES INVALIDES: Immediately place the Hôtel des Invalides on a Cobblestone space of your color and place a chimney of your color on top of it. The Hôtel is scored normally, and at the end of the game, you get 1 additional point for each space between this building and the closest edge of the board. OBÉLISQUE DE LOUXOR: Immediately place the Luxor Obelisk on a Cobblestone space of your color. At the end of the game, each player gets 2 additional points for each of their buildings that is located on any space in the same line (vertically and horizontally) as the space occupied by the Obelisk. The Obelisk is not a building. Fim de Jogo e Pontuação You can use the provided SCORING NOTEPAD to record game results. The notepad has lines to mark down points obtained for lighted buildings, points for grouped buildings, points granted by action postcards, and the value subtracted for unbuilt buildings. Finally, calculate the final result for each player to determine the winner. Lighted Buildings: Points obtained for these are noted on the first line of the SCORING NOTEPAD. Grouped Buildings: Points for these are noted on the second line of the SCORING NOTEPAD. Action Postcards: Points granted by these are noted. Unbuilt Buildings: The value subtracted for these is noted. Catacombes de Paris: If your opponent built on a space with a Skull, they score the building normally, and you get half as many points as they did for that building (rounding down). Musée du Louvre: The building housing the Museum’s exhibit is scored normally, and you get 1 additional point for each orthogonally adjacent space not occupied by another building. Tour Eiffel: Each player gets 2 additional points for each empty space of their color under the cross of the Eiffel Tower. Notre-Dame de Paris: The building with the Gargoyle is scored normally by your opponent, and both players can count it as their own when determining the size of their largest building group. Quartiers Pauvres: You get additional points based on the number of different board edges in contact with your buildings: 1 point for one edge, 2 points for two, 4 points for three, or 8 points for four edges. Hôtel des Invalides: The Hôtel is scored normally, and you get 1 additional point for each space between this building and the closest edge of the board. Obélisque de Louxor: Each player gets 2 additional points for each of their buildings located on any space in the same line (vertically and horizontally) as the space occupied by the Obelisk. Dicas para Vencer Consider the placement of the Arc de Triomphe carefully, as it can significantly impact the size of your largest building group, even though it doesn't score points directly. When using the Catacombes de Paris, try to place the Skull on a strategic Cobblestone space of your opponent's color that they are likely to build on, to maximize your point gain. Utilize the Tour Eiffel's ability to double Streetlight points for adjacent buildings and aim to have empty spaces of your color under its cross to gain extra points at the end of the game. ## FAQ ### Do I need the base game Paris: La Cité de la Lumière to play Paris: Eiffel?
