As mayor, you’ll decide whether to boost population with a maternity ward, strengthen security with a police station, or cut pollution by installing a reprocessing plant. Each round, a selection of public service tiles is revealed beside the board and becomes available for construction. Timing the placement of each building is crucial, as opponents compete for the same spots and can block your plans. Tile placement lets you fit the new tiles into the existing layout of your city, while pattern building creates combos that grant scoring bonuses or extra resources. Set collection comes into play when you need to gather specific types of services to trigger abilities or meet scoring objectives. The game retains the base‑game’s brisk pace, with playtime ranging from 30 to 60 minutes, and stays light with a 2.1 weight on a 5‑point scale—perfect for players who enjoy easy‑to‑learn games with meaningful choices. The expansion also adds new scoring avenues: some services score by quantity, others by diversity, and a few provide end‑game benefits like reduced pollution or increased population. This creates a more dynamic board and tighter competition, as each mayor balances growth, wellbeing, and sustainability. If you already love the original Quadropolis or enjoy city‑building games with quick tactical decisions, Public Services adds layers of choice that refresh the experience without overcomplicating the rules. Get ready to plan, adapt, and battle for the title of the most efficient and happiest city. ## How to Play Objective of the Game Consulte o manual para detalhes sobre esta seção. Then, check the corresponding line on your Helper to know how many VPs you score per Office Tower, depending on its number of floors. The Congress Center is not an Office Tower and thus does not score as one. It cannot be stacked with other tiles. Also, VPs scored for Office Towers cannot exceed the final line of the table (5 adjacent Office Towers).
