## Description
Hey folks! If you're already a fan of Quartermaster General and want to add some extra spice before the main battle kicks off, Prelude is the perfect choice! This expansion introduces a mini warm-up game with special cards that set the stage for World War II. Think of it as the prologue to an epic movie, where initial decisions shape what's to come.

There are two types of cards in this prelude: 'History' and 'Armament'. History cards usually have an immediate effect and can influence the overall 'tension' of the game. Armament cards are played face down, like response cards, but they cost a regular card from your hand to use. The twist is that the main game only begins when the accumulated tension from History cards reaches 10. It's a neat way to ensure each session has a unique start and that strategies begin to form right from the get-go. With Prelude, you add a strategic layer that defines the initial setup without significantly extending the overall playtime. It's ideal for those who enjoy a good wargame with a touch of preparation and anticipation.
