Ratzia (also released as Razzia!) captures the core of Reiner Knizia's classic Ra, swapping the Egyptian backdrop for a gritty mafia underworld filled with cars, jewels and nightclubs. The game runs three rounds, during which players, acting as mob bosses, flip over loot cards to build a lot of valuable items. When the lot looks tempting enough – or a police officer card appears – the auction starts. Each player has a set of cheques (money) to place bids; the highest bidder claims the displayed goods. Risk spikes when more police cards are revealed: if they arrive before all cheques are spent, the illegal auction is shut down, forcing the mobsters to settle with whatever they have. After the auction, collected items score points; some cards are discarded while others stay in a player's collection for later rounds, allowing longer‑term planning.
