## Description
Scrabble Junior is the perfect gateway to word fun, designed for kids aged 5 to 12. The game includes a double‑sided board: the front side comes pre‑filled with every possible word, acting like a crossword puzzle where the goal is to complete each row or column and score points. This side serves as a spelling and vocabulary aid, as children simply locate the missing words. The reverse side is a completely blank grid, letting youngsters invent their own words; each placed letter earns one point, encouraging creativity and spelling practice. Letter tiles are cardboard and carry no point values, keeping the rules ultra‑simple. The set offers two grid sizes—13 × 13 for quicker rounds and 15 × 15 for a bigger challenge—and supports 2‑4 players in about 30 minutes. First published in 1958, the game has seen several editions and even local variants like "Rainbow Scrabble." With a light weight (1.35/5) and a high rating (4.76 on BGG), Scrabble Junior blends learning and fun, making it ideal for family game nights or classroom introductions to crossword‑style word games.
