It adds six fresh locations – the Western Trading Post, Tea House, Brotherhood Temple, Sacred Garden, Gambling Parlor, and the chance to hear the Samurai Lord – giving players more reasons to explore every corner. The expansion also introduces eight special village types, such as the Slaver Village, Trading Port, and Outlaw Haven, each offering unique challenges and rewards. A deck of Village Event cards brings daily surprises, while the three town map sizes let you scale the board to fit your group. To keep things dynamic, location tokens generate a new village each time you visit, and the large folding tactical board simplifies in‑town missions. If you love missions, there are now six new village missions, plus a fresh enemy type – Feudal Bandits – complete with record sheets, threat cards, and 12 miniatures for epic encounters. All of this fits neatly into the cooperative style, with dice rolling, grid movement, a modular board, and variable player powers that make each game feel fresh. If you’re already familiar with the base game and crave more action, horror, and adventure, this expansion is the perfect upgrade to push your group into new strategic and emotional frontiers. ## FAQ ### How many players can play? 1 to 4 players. ### How long does a game last?
