The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow drops players into a tiny village where night brings hungry werewolves. Each participant is secretly handed a role – it could be a ravenous werewolf, an ordinary villager, or a special character such as the Sheriff, Hunter, Witch, Little Girl, or Fortune Teller. One player acts as the Moderator, steering the flow of the game. Play alternates between night and day phases. At night, the werewolves whisper to each other and pick a victim to kill. At dawn, the slain villager is revealed and removed from the game. The remaining players, including the special ones, then discuss, trade hints, and finally vote on who they think is a werewolf. The chosen player is lynched, reveals their role, and also leaves the table. The cycle repeats until either all werewolves are eliminated or they outnumber the villagers. No board or complex cards are needed – just paper, a pen (or the BGA app), and a large group of 8‑18 players for the social tension to flow.
