In the middle, three rings create a triple Venn diagram; one player takes on the role of "The Knower," who knows each ring’s secret rule and judges the plays. The rest of the players start with five object cards and, on their turn, try to place a card into the ring that matches that circle’s logic – whether it’s spelling, grammar, physical properties, cultural relevance, or industry. If the card fits, the player may continue placing another; if not, The Knower moves the card to the correct area and the player draws a new one. The goal is straightforward: discard all your cards before your opponents by using inductive reasoning to figure out each ring’s rule. The fun comes from the overlapping zones: cards can satisfy two or even all three rings, creating unexpected moves and plenty of chatter. A typical game lasts about 20 minutes, supports 2‑6 players, and carries a weight of 1.3, meaning it’s easy to learn and quick to play while still offering enough depth for pattern‑hunters. The rulebook is concise, making memorization a breeze, and the components consist only of object cards and the three rings, keeping the box small but the fun big. Whether at a family gathering, a game night, or a bar hangout, Things in Rings shows that a simple concept can spark lots of enjoyment and friendly competition. ## FAQ ### How many players can join? 2 to 6 players, including the Knower. ### What’s the typical playtime?
