## Description
Ticket to Ride Map Collection 5 adds two new double‑sided boards – one for the British Isles and one for Pennsylvania – that can be paired with Ticket to Ride or Ticket to Ride: Europe. The United Kingdom side introduces a tech track: at the start players may only build 1‑ or 2‑train routes and only in England. By spending wild cards they unlock longer routes, ferries and the ability to expand into Scotland, Wales and Ireland, plus optional bonus cards that reward specific actions. The Pennsylvania side adds a stock‑holding twist: whenever a player completes a route they claim a share of the company shown beside that line. At game end, the player holding the most shares of a company receives extra points. The two maps require extra trains (35 for the UK, 45 for Pennsylvania) and act as an official expansion, also compatible with Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries (limited to three players and spare trains). The expansion preserves the core hand‑management, set‑collection and network‑building mechanics while layering technology and stock elements for deeper strategy. Designer Alan R. Moon has publicly noted that the advanced technology cards were never fully play‑tested, so groups may treat them as optional bonuses. Overall, it’s a solid upgrade for railway fans who want more tactical choices without a steep learning curve.

## FAQ
### How many players can use the expansion?
It works for 2 to 5 players, just like the base game.

### What is the typical play time?
Between 30 and 75 minutes, depending on player count and familiarity with the new rules.

### Do I need extra trains?
Yes, the UK map requires 35 trains and the Pennsylvania map 45. If you own the Nordic Countries expansion, you can use its spare trains.

### Are the technology cards mandatory?
No. The designer stated they were never fully play‑tested, so you can treat them as optional bonuses.

### Can I use this with Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries?
Yes, but only for three players and you’ll need to use the spare trains because the Nordic map only has 40 trains per colour.
