A 3-dice weapon with accuracy 4+ means three D6, counting as a hit each result of 4 or higher. The per-die probability is straightforward, but intuition misleads once there are several dice. With three dice at 5+, the chance of at least one hit is about 70%, well above the 33% of a single die — and that is what justifies many-dice weapons with poor accuracy. Each hit applies the damage printed on the weapon card, and damage must meet or exceed the target zombie's armour. Rolling many hits at damage 1 does not resolve a target with higher armour. ## Frequently asked questions ### How does dice rolling work in Zombicide? Each weapon specifies how many D6 dice you roll and the accuracy threshold needed to hit (e.g. 4+, 5+, or 6+). Every die that meets or exceeds the threshold inflicts damage. ### How many dice can I roll simultaneously? The free tier supports up to 6 dice at once; Premium unlocks groups of 30 or more. The roller adds the values, while you apply the weapon's accuracy threshold from your game. ### What are the odds of hitting with three dice at 5+? Each die hits 33.3% of the time, so the chance of none hitting is about 30%. In practice you hit at least once in roughly 70% of rolls. ### Is rolling a 6 always a hit? Yes, 6 is the highest D6 result and satisfies any accuracy value in the game. Some skills and heavy weapons also use the 6 for extra effects. ## Dedicated per-game pages - [Zombicide](https://www.boardgamesbot.com/tools/dice-roller/zombicide) - [Star Wars: Imperial Assault](https://www.boardgamesbot.com/tools/dice-roller/star-wars-imperial-assault) - [Nemesis](https://www.boardgamesbot.com/tools/dice-roller/nemesis) - [Cthulhu: Death May Die](https://www.boardgamesbot.com/tools/dice-roller/cthulhu-death-may-die) - [Mansions of Madness 2e](https://www.boardgamesbot.com/tools/dice-roller/mansions-of-madness)
