Kids: Detective Stories brings the thrill of escape rooms to the tabletop in a way that’s perfectly suited for kids 6 and up. Played cooperatively by 1‑4 players, the game offers three distinct mysteries – a haunted Scottish castle, a barnyard animal investigation, and a chaotic amusement park. Using only cards, cardboard tokens and a hints booklet (no app required), players explore scenes, gather clues, combine items and solve riddles before the sand timer runs out. The real‑time pressure adds excitement, but the difficulty curve stays gentle, teaching youngsters to share information, coordinate actions and think logically. A 11‑card tutorial gets you started quickly, and a solutions booklet prevents dead‑ends from becoming frustrating. With 150 story cards, 38 tokens and special components, the game provides plenty of replay value as each mystery can be approached with different clue combinations. Bright artwork and whimsical characters keep kids engaged, while adults enjoy the mini‑escape‑room feel. In short, Unlock! Kids delivers adventure, teamwork and light puzzle‑solving in short 20‑60 minute sessions, making it a great choice for family game nights or small groups of young friends. ## FAQ ### How many players can join? 1 to 4 players, perfect for families or small groups. ### How long does a game take?
