## Description
In Village Rails you become the visionary who brings the steam age to England’s small villages. Each game starts with a deck of track, vehicle, and local request cards. Your job? Draw railway routes that link hamlets, farms, and stations while meeting the increasingly idiosyncratic demands of the locals.

The open‑draft mechanic ensures all players see the same cards, creating a real‑time strategic duel. Meanwhile, tile placement turns the board into a constantly evolving map where each track segment can shift the balance of your business.

The trick is knowing when to leave a resource unchosen. If you skip a train card, it gains value, which can swing the game in your favor. This *Increase Value of Unchosen Resources* dynamic forces you to weigh every choice.

Network and route building demands efficient planning, balancing distance, cost, and local demand. Scoring comes from both completed routes and resident satisfaction.

Village Rails runs about 45 minutes for 2‑4 players, with a robust visual component: detailed cards and a board reminiscent of an old railway map. If you enjoy games that blend strategy, route planning, and a dash of humor in local requests, this title is for you.

Get ready to roll up your sleeves, lay your tracks, and maybe earn the title of England’s “Railroad Master”!
