## How to Play
1. Objetivo do Jogo
In Vinhos: Deluxe Edition, you play as a wine producer in Portugal, expanding your business over six years. Your goal is to build estates, grow vineyards, hire staff, produce high‑quality wines, sell them locally, export them abroad, and showcase your best wines at the Wine Tasting Fair. The player with the most Victory Points (VP) at the end of the game wins.

3. Fluxo do Jogo
The game is divided into six years, each year containing several phases in the following order:

  Start of Year – The top Vintage tile is revealed, showing the weather (+2 to –2). The previous year’s tile is discarded.
  Actions Phase – Each player performs **two actions** from the nine available options. Players move their Action Marker around the Quadrel to take an action. After the first action, the Player Order may change if someone passes. After the second action, the Year/Taxation Marker moves to the “B” space, indicating the Maintenance phase.
  Maintenance – Every player takes one barrel from the Sales Area (if any) and returns it to their supply.
  Production – All wines on the board age one slot to the right; any that move beyond the rightmost slot are discarded. Then each estate that has at least one vineyard produces a new wine tile, whose Wine Quality is calculated from vineyards, farmers, wineries, enologists, Porto status, and weather.
  Wine Tasting Fair – Occurs only in the 3rd, 5th, and 6th years. Players who have not yet placed a disc in the fair must do so now. The fair awards VP based on cumulative Fair Points, grants a Wine Expert to the 4th place, and allows players to buy Magnate Action/Multiplier tiles.

After the 6th year’s fair, the game proceeds to the final scoring.

4. Ações e Como Jogar
Vineyards Action
Buy 1 or 2 vineyards from 1–2 regions. For each vineyard:

  Take the topmost vineyard tile from the region’s deck.
  Pay the tile’s cost.
  Place it in an empty estate slot on your Player Board.
  If it’s the first vineyard in that estate, place the estate’s Region Marker on the map and, if available, a Region Renown Cube in the region inset.

Wineries Action
Build 1 or 2 wineries. For each winery:

  Take a winery tile from the board.
  Pay 3 Bagos.
  Place it in an empty estate slot.
  Place a Region Renown Cube if possible.

Enologists/Farmers Action
Hire 1 or 2 staff. For each:

  Take an enologist (cost 3 Bagos) or farmer (cost 2 Bagos) from the board.
  Place the enologist on an empty winery or the farmer on an empty vineyard.

Cellars Action
Build 1 or 2 cellars. For each cellar:

  Take a cellar tile from the board.
  Pay 3 Bagos.
  Place it over a warehouse to cover it.
  Transfer all wine tiles from the warehouse to the cellar, keeping their aging positions.
  Place a Region Renown Cube if possible.

Sales Action
Sell 1 or 2 wines to local establishments. For each wine:

  Place a barrel from your supply in an empty sales slot.
  The wine’s Wine Value must meet or exceed the slot’s required value.
  Remove 1–2 Region Renown Cubes only if needed to reach the required value.
  Discard the wine tile and receive the slot’s value in Bagos.

Export Action
Export 1 or 2 wines to foreign markets. For each wine:

  Place a barrel in an empty export slot.
  The wine’s Wine Value must meet or exceed the slot’s required value.
  Remove 1–2 Region Renown Cubes only if needed.
  Discard the wine tile and immediately earn the slot’s VP.

Wine Experts Action
Hire 1 or 2 wine experts. For each:

  Choose a deck, pay 1 Bago, and take the top tile.
  Place the tile face‑up in front of you.

During a turn, you may flip one face‑up expert face‑down to use its special ability. Only one expert can be used per turn.
Pass / Press Release Action
Move your Action Marker to this space (free). Then:

  Move your Player Order Marker to the bottom row.
  Choose to Pass or to Do a Press Release (only once per fair).

Press Release steps:

  Declare the wine you will present.
  Optionally remove 1–2 Region Renown Cubes to increase its Wine Value.
  Earn Fair Points equal to the wine’s Wine Value and advance your Fair Scoring Marker.
  Choose an empty Fair Booth and move your disc there.
  For each wine feature on the current Vintage tile, discard a matching face‑up expert to earn Fair Points equal to the number of symbols on that feature (plus one if the expert has an arrow).
  Collect any bonus from the chosen booth (e.g., take a Wine Expert tile, 3 Bagos, advance 3 Fair Points).
  Optionally take up to two barrels from Magnate spaces that match your wine’s expectations.
  Discard the wine tile.


5. Fim de Jogo e Pontuação
After the 3rd fair (end of the 6th year), the game moves to final scoring. Each player takes one more action (with one expert ability and one magnate action allowed). Then scoring is as follows:

  Money – VP equal to the number of Bagos you have (see table).
  Wines – Half the quality of each wine you own (rounded down).
  Export Majorities – VP for each column where you have the most barrels; ties split the points (rounded down).
  Multiplier Tiles – VP from any end‑game multiplier tiles that have a barrel on them.

Winner: player with the most VP. If tied, the player with more barrels in the Export Area wins; if still tied, the player with more money wins.
