What The Film?! is a party game that puts everyone in the shoes of an improvised movie producer. Each player gets a hand of cards split into three types – actor, setting and plot – and on their turn they combine one of each to create the most outrageous premise possible. With 300 different cards, the combos are practically endless, guaranteeing laughs each round. After assembling your idea, the clock starts: you have exactly 36 seconds to pitch your film to the table, like an elevator speech. There’s no time for lengthy persuasion, so the spiel must be quick and convincing. Then everyone votes simultaneously, handing a colored token to the player they think delivered the best movie. The player with the most votes keeps the cards they played as points; the rest discard theirs. 

To spice things up, the deck includes Industry cards that can be played immediately or discarded, delivering positive effects (steal another player’s points) or negative ones (pay "union dues" and lose cards). A game runs for six rounds, and at the end the player with the most points claims the Director of the Year title.
