## Description
Get ready to dive into Operation Market Garden like never before with *Where Eagles Dare: The Battle for Hell’s Highway*! This heavy wargame is the direct sequel to *The Devil's Cauldron*, but also works perfectly as a standalone game. Here, the tension is palpable as the elite 101st US Airborne Division must race against time to defend the crucial 'Hell's Highway' – the sole supply route for the British 1st Airborne Division, which is in deep trouble in Arnhem. It's a desperate race against the outnumbered German forces, and every move counts.

Part of Multi-Man Publishing's renowned Grand Tactical series, *Where Eagles Dare* elevates the experience with new terrain types and special rules that capture the essence of the battle. One of the coolest new features is the off-map movement system, which allows the Germans to reallocate their troops between battlefield sectors, adding an extra layer of unpredictability. You'll relive famous historical moments, such as the breakout from Joe's Bridge, the capture of Aalst and Eindhoven, and the battles of Best and Veghel, as well as lesser-known American attacks. The game also offers several versions of a grand campaign and rules that link with *The Devil's Cauldron*, allowing you to play the entire Market Garden operation.

With the same attention to detail and praised graphic style as its predecessor, *Where Eagles Dare* brings fascinating historical tidbits to light – from the Dutch farmer who, unwittingly, misdirected Panther tanks, to the German air raid that stalled the advance up Hell's Highway. The components are top-notch, with five giant full-color mapsheets, eleven countersheets (totaling 1936 counters!), a robust rulebook, a rules summary, divisional unit display cards, and even 10-sided dice. It's an immersive and challenging experience for two players, which can last from 2 to 40 hours, depending on the chosen scenario. If you enjoy historical wargames with depth and detail, this is a must-have!
