About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for a feline art-collecting showdown with A Risk Cat! In this super fun game, you play as art collectors aiming to amass the largest stack of art tokens and, of course, snatch the most valuable artworks. The game features 11 numbered artworks, and for each, there's a matching set of tokens hidden in a mysterious bag. On your turn, the adrenaline kicks in as you push your luck, drawing tokens one by one. Want to risk more? Keep drawing to try and grab as many tokens as you dare! But beware, if you draw a duplicate token during the same turn, you 'bust' and lose everything you drew that turn, returning the tokens to the bag. If luck is on your side, you can stop at any time and stack your newly acquired tokens onto your personal pile, maintaining their order. And the best part? If you draw a token that matches the top token of another player's pile, you can snatch it! Yes, you can even take an entire sequence of matching tokens. The game ends when the bag is empty. Then it's time to tally points: whoever has the most tokens for a specific artwork claims the original painting (worth its printed points). In case of a tie, the black cat silhouette token decides! Add up the points from your claimed artworks plus one point per token in your stack (or two points for Twin tokens). The collector with the highest total score wins! And for those who enjoy an extra twist, some tokens have special abilities that activate the moment they are drawn or stolen. It's a fast-paced game, full of tension and reversals, perfect for those who enjoy a good dose of push-your-luck with direct interaction.
