Embark on a journey to Ancient Egypt with Amun-Re: The Card Game, a card-based version that captures the essence of its larger sibling! Here, the game's heart beats strongly in auctions, where you'll compete for provinces against other rising pharaohs. There are three rounds, each featuring three frenetic auctions. Start with a handful of money cards (0-8) and choose a combination totaling 14 to kick things off. Provinces appear, and it's time to place your bids by putting a money card next to the one you desire. If someone outbids you, you reclaim your money and try again on another province. Whoever has the most visible ankhs becomes the Pharaoh of the round, dictating the action order. After the auctions, the magic of the Nile unfolds: everyone offers gold, and the sum determines the river's flood level, which in turn dictates how much money you earn from your fields. The highest gold bidder receives pyramids to adorn their provinces. Then, it's time to spend gold to build more pyramids, manage your income, and score points for sets of pyramids, fields, and ankhs. In subsequent rounds, older provinces are hidden beneath new layers, symbolizing the passage of time and the evolution of your empire. The player with the most points at the end of the three rounds is crowned the great winner!
