About the game
What you do in a play session
The Caverns of Estor hide the secrets of an ancient city now overrun by dark forces. You and your party arrive in the village of Estoria, lured by tales of riches and glory. There, desperate villagers offer rewards for dangerous quests – and it's up to you to choose which challenge to face. Battlecards is a roguelike card game for 2-6 players where you build your deck, battle monsters, and compete for prestige. The group's goal is to complete the main quest, but each player also has a secret agenda from their deity – and these goals don't always align. With over 500 cards, fast-paced combat, and character progression, every game is a unique adventure. Get ready to make tough choices: cooperate with allies or pursue your own interests?

Quick answers before you buy
Best player count?
3-5 is the sweet spot. 2 feels too straightforward, 6 might drag.
Can you play solo?
Nope, strictly multiplayer. But there's an optional pure coop mode.
Recommended age?
12+ due to complexity and dark themes. Teens love it.
Do you pre-build decks?
Nope! You construct your deck during play, Slay the Spire-style.
Any expansions?
Not yet, but with 500 base cards, you won't get bored soon.
