About the game
Battlecrest: Andmar – Hero Set brings a hero that is literally two people in one: Andmar, the dhampir who splits into Andmar and her alter‑ego Daema. What does that mean in practice? Each half gets its own set of action cards, a health tracker, and a minion, letting you choose between brutal attacks, control tactics, or an unexpected two‑force combo. The expansion keeps the classic Battlecrest structure – a map of six cards shuffled into a pre‑defined pattern – but introduces the option to play in teams of up to four or solo against the AI, using the Imperator module. The ‘Hand Management’ system remains at the core: you must decide when to use each card, when to refill your hand, and when to exploit each hero’s unique powers. Andmar’s duality adds a surprise element: the two halves can unite for a devastating strike or split to cover more ground. For fans of the speed and tension of Battlecrest, this expansion offers more variety, more strategies, and, of course, more fun in every game. If you enjoy card games that require tactical thinking and adapt to different player counts, Andmar is the perfect upgrade for your deck.
