About the game
What you do in a play session
Battlecrest: Expansion Collection #3 brings a fresh roster of heroes ready to jump into combat, expanding the strategic variety you can explore. Each hero set comes with a six‑card deck that includes the hero card, a health tracker, and action cards that can be swapped for items or minions depending on the scenario. The board, also made of cards, is assembled in a random pattern, meaning every game has a unique terrain and obstacle layout.
The game retains the core of the original Battlecrest – a fully informed card‑tactical duel – but adds the option to play solo, against AI, or in teams of three to four players. The expansions bring new challenges, such as the Imperator II solo expansion, testing your ability to outsmart autonomous opponents, and the Griyan and Mub Zane sets, which introduce characters with distinct abilities.
Grid movement and hand management mechanics require you to plan each step, while the modular board ensures the battlefield never feels repetitive. Variable player powers let you tailor your strategy to your style, creating battles that are never the same. If you enjoy card games that demand strategic thinking, quick battles, and the freedom to play solo or in teams, this expansion is a sure bet.
With a playtime of about 20 minutes and support for up to four players, Battlecrest #3 delivers instant fun and tactical depth, making it perfect for casual game sessions or friendly competitions.
