Get your caffeine ready and gear up your focus, because Braintopia Beyond is here to fry everyone's neurons at the table! If you've played the original, you know the pace is frantic, but this sequel takes the mental challenge to a whole new level. Here, fun isn't just about luck; it's about who can stay calm and agile while their brain tries to process everything at once. The game is a true circuit of mini-games testing different cognitive skills, ensuring no one gets bored.
The gameplay is incredibly dynamic: the deck consists of eight different types of challenges. You will cycle through Multitasking, Observation, Squares, Analysis, Unique, Combination, Tracking, and the quick-touch challenge (Touch). The concept is simple yet intense: you must be faster than your opponents to solve the puzzles on the cards. By winning a 'Touch' challenge or claiming a pair of cards from any of the other seven modes, you earn a brain token. The race is short and explosive: the first player to collect four brain tokens wins the crown of intelligence (or at least the glory of the round!).
This is the perfect type of game for those who love quick logic challenges and want to feel the adrenaline of mental competition. With sessions lasting around 15 minutes, it's ideal for shaking up the group between meals or challenging friends during a light but competitive game night. Get ready to laugh at your own mental confusion and, most importantly, try not to get left behind when the tempo picks up!
