How to Play Camel Up: Supercup

Objective of the Game

In Camel Up: Supercup, players take on the role of spectators betting on the craziest camel race of all time. The goal is to make the most profitable bets by predicting the movement of camels and leveraging new opportunities introduced by the expansion. The player with the most Egyptian Pounds at the end of the game wins.

Preparation (Setup)

To set up the game:

1. Set up the base game of Camel Up as usual.
2. Choose which of the 4 modules you want to include in the game. Each module introduces new components and rules.
3. For Module 1: Extend the Race track by attaching the Game board extension, place the Pedestal and Supporting dice, and add the additional Pyramid and Leg Betting tiles.
4. For Module 2: Place the Photographer tile and assemble the Camera.
5. For Module 3: Place the Position Betting tiles and additional Leg Betting tiles.
6. For Module 4: Distribute Betting Partnership cards to each player.

Flow of the Game

The game is played in turns, with each player performing one action per turn. The race is divided into Legs, which end when all dice from the Pyramid have been revealed. At the end of each Leg, players score their bets. The game continues until the final Leg is completed, and the player with the most Egyptian Pounds wins.

Actions and How to Play

On your turn, you must perform one of the following actions:

• Take a Leg Betting tile: Bet on a camel to win the current Leg.
• Place your Desert tile: Influence camel movement by placing a Desert tile on the Race track.
• Take a Pyramid tile: Reveal a die from the Pyramid and move the corresponding camel.
• Bet on the overall winner or loser: Place a Race Betting card face down on the appropriate Betting space.
• Become the Photographer (Module 2): Place the Camera next to a Race track space to earn coins if camels land there.
• Take a Position Betting tile (Module 3): Bet on a camel to finish in a specific position.
• Enter into a Betting Partnership (Module 4): Exchange Betting Partnership cards with another player to share rewards.

If playing with the spicy version of Module 1, you may also return a Pyramid tile and add a Supporting die to the Pyramid at the end of your turn.

End of Game and Scoring

The game ends after the final Leg is completed. Players score points based on their bets:

• Leg Betting tiles: Earn coins if your chosen camel wins the Leg.
• Position Betting tiles (Module 3): Earn or lose coins based on whether your camel finishes in the predicted position.
• Race Betting cards: Earn coins if your bet on the overall winner or loser is correct.
• Betting Partnerships (Module 4): Share rewards with your partner by adding one of their tile rewards to your own.

The player with the most Egyptian Pounds at the end of the game wins.

Tips for Winning

• Use Supporting dice strategically in Module 1 to influence camel movement and maximize your bets.
• In Module 2, position the Camera on spaces where camel stacks are likely to form for higher rewards.
• In Module 4, form Betting Partnerships with players who have strong bets to share rewards and increase your earnings.
