About the game

What you do in a play session

Carrier: The Southwest Pacific Campaign – 1942-1943 is a solitaire wargame that puts you in command of US naval forces during the intense Pacific battles of World War II. The game simulates historical and hypothetical carrier battles, where you must locate and destroy the Japanese fleet before they do the same to you. With simple mechanics to control enemy movements and an air search system that builds tension every turn, you only discover you're under attack when Japanese planes are already in the sky. The game includes a detailed map, hundreds of counters, combat resolution tables, and a ten-sided die for random actions. Get ready to make tough tactical decisions, just like the real commanders did back then.
