Grab your apron and sharpen your claws, because the Catfé kitchen is heating up! Moka, a master cat baker, has been so successful with her cat-themed coffee shop that she can't keep up with the massive demand. What started as a sweet dream has turned into a fierce culinary competition to see who can become the ultimate chef.
The goal is straightforward but requires a sharp mind: you need to be the first to collect a set of delicious desserts to impress Moka. In a 2 or 3-player game, you're aiming for 4 desserts; for 4 or 5 players, the bar rises to 5. But watch out—don't get too predictable! If you collect too many of the same kind of dessert, Moka will lose interest, and you'll lose the game. It's all about finding that sweet spot between speed and variety.
If you enjoy a bit of mischief, you're in for a treat! This isn't just about cooking; it's about making sure the other chefs don't outshine you. With 'Take That' mechanics, you can sabotage your opponents' kitchens to secure your spot at the top. To keep things fresh, Catfé includes alternative game modes: in 'Mokaccino' mode, it's a battle of survival where players are eliminated one by one until only one champion remains. In the 'Irish Coffee' mode, the focus shifts to point collection, offering a more strategic layer of risk and reward.
Catfé is a fast-paced, light, and highly dynamic experience, perfect for a quick 20-minute session before dinner or to spice up a social gathering. It's cute, it's competitive, and most importantly, it's a blast. Do you have what it takes to master the menu, or will you end up as kitty treats?
