About the game
Change! is a trio of money‑exchange card games set in the infernal fast‑food joint Fridey’s. Each game has its own flavor, yet all revolve around bargaining, bidding, and spending chips in creative ways. In the first scenario, *Make Your Own Change*, you try to squeeze the best deal out of a dim‑witted zombie. If he doesn’t have the exact change, he hands you more than you gave—who can snag the best bargain? The second, *Boneyard*, turns the table into a silent auction: piles of cash are spread out and you bid, with your bids falling back into the piles. The goal is to get ahead enough to win. The final game, *Diminishing Returns*, is pure charm: everyone starts with the same set of bills and puts money into a common pot until only one player remains. It’s a streamlined version of the Cheapass classic *Fight!* using denominations of 1, 3, 5, 7, and 10. The fun lies in the simplicity of the rules, the quick pace (30 minutes), and the fierce competition. Each variant offers a different rhythm, but all require quick, smart decisions about when and how much to spend. If you enjoy light card games with a focus on resource strategy and a dash of humor, Change! will delight you. The only drawback might be the lack of depth compared to more complex titles, but for quick sessions and friendly play, it delivers everything you need.
