Hey folks, check out this expansion for those already into the Mistfall universe! Chronicles of Frost: All That Burns introduces a new villain to cause headaches, Sigraed the Mistflame, a fiery mage driven mad by revenge and reforged into a living weapon by the mists. But that's not all: there's a new hero to play and, best of all, a cooperative campaign mode for you to tackle a series of five scenarios together. With 110 new cards, things get serious! You'll unlock brand-new abilities for your heroes and try to stop Sigraed from setting the world ablaze. The fight to free Valskyrr from her grip will be intense, culminating in an epic showdown. And hey, the good news is that after being defeated and redeemed (yes, she can be!), Sigraed becomes a playable hero! You can unlock her by winning the campaign or play her right from the start, because, you know, the mists corrupt everything and everyone, even turning old friends into shadows or twisted copies. This game requires significant reading in Portuguese, so be aware of the language dependency.
This expansion adds a narrative layer and a cooperative challenge that expands the base game experience. Deck building and resource management are essential to overcome the obstacles presented by the scenarios and the villain. The modular board ensures each campaign has a touch of novelty, while the heroes' varied powers encourage experimenting with different team tactics. It's a great addition for those who enjoy immersion and cooperative challenges in a dark fantasy setting.
