You play as a surviving Sorcerer‑Lord of the Erret Archipelago, a chain of islands once linked by massive bridges that guaranteed wealth but now host battles over dwindling resources. In Clash of Decks: Starter Kit each player builds an eight‑unit army using cards representing creatures, spells, and structures. The goal is to march across two bridges, clash with the opponent, and destroy first the watchtower then the castle. At the start of each turn your mana equals the number of cards in hand; when you take damage you shift your tower or castle card one space to the right, and when it reaches the far‑right end the building is destroyed. Defeated creatures return to your hand at the far‑right position, making the choice of which unit to play and which to sacrifice vital for board control and total health. The game supports 1‑2 players, lasts 15‑30 minutes, and has rules simple enough for ages 8+, yet deep enough for fans of hand management and open drafting. Designed by Léandre Proust, illustrated by Studio Rexard and published by Grammes Édition, it began as a print‑and‑play project and now features standard‑quality cards in a tuck box. A solo mode lets you challenge the game system itself. It’s a fast, tactical, fantasy‑medieval showdown perfect for anyone who loves epic duels in a compact format.
